MODERNIZED PLANT OF HEIDELBERGCEMENT OPENED IN RUSTAVI

A renewed plant of HeidelbergCement was opened in Rustavi, which modernization was implemented since 2013.
As Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry reported, “Separator of latest generation was put in operation in the plant, which will contribute to further improvement of cement quality and growth of products’ range”. In installation of QDK4 separator, the company has invested 4 million lari. The same separator is planned to install in Poti plant as well.
In his turn, sales and marketing director of HeidelbergCement Irakli Makharoblidze declared that in June, the company’s managing board will announce strategy of planned investment projects in Georgia.
As Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry declared, German HeidelbergCement has invested over 200 million EUR in Georgia since 2006 and currently runs 3 cement and 8 concrete plants, as well as Supsa cement transshipment terminal.
